Production Supervisor - Highbridge - GBP25k
Manucomm Recruitment is looking to recruit a driven and ambitious production supervisor for a successful FMCG company based in Highbridge, Somerset
The successful Production Supervisor will have already have experience of leading or supervising a team and will be used to hitting and exceeding business targets and objectives.
Managing a small team of 6-10 production staff, this position offers the opportunity for someone who is looking to progress within a business on the back of delivering the right level of results, both on an operational front as well as through the development of team skills and the delivery of training requirements.
This is a day based role (40hrs per week) Monday - Friday although sometimes the role is completed in 4 days (still 40hrs)
Key Requirements for the Supervisor role:
-Previous supervisory experience in the food, drink or pharmaceutical sector
-Must enjoy being hands on
-Ability to work under pressure ensuring the factory production plan is met
-An understanding of technical/ quality would be helpful though not essential
-Continuous Improvement (CI) experience would be helpful, though not essential,
-Excellent people skills including coaching and developing staff
This role will suit a candidate that has previously worked as a Production Line Leader / Production Supervisor / Production Manager / Team leader / Charge hand.
The role will pay a salary of up to GBP25k DOE and there may be additional overtime available.
