We are Currently looking for a FULL TIME COOK / CHEF
You need to be able to work under pressure and as part of a team in a busy village pub where we serve food all day every day from 12 until 9pm.
You must have experience and have the ability to run a kitchen. Hours and wages are negotiable depending on experience.
You'll need:
- organisational and time management skills
- excellent communication and number skills
- the ability to stay calm under pressure
Your day-to-day tasks will vary with your role, but may include:
- preparing attractive menus to nutritional standards
- controlling and ordering stock and inspecting it on delivery
- cooking and presenting food creatively
- monitoring production to maintain quality and consistent portion sizes
- working under pressure to make sure food is served on time
- keeping to hygiene, health and safety and licensing rules
