MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge UK
The Laboratory of Molecular Biology, which is based on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus on the southern side of Cambridge, requires two Stores Team Members as part of the team serving the Laboratory Stores.
You will assist by covering all general stores duties which will include the provision of a counter service, assembly of electronic requests, unpacking and receipting parcels using an electronic system and organising the collection of outgoing goods. There will also be a requirement to assist the Operations Group with a variety of general day-to-day activities. This is a permanent, full time role to be worked between 08:30 and 16:45, Monday to Friday.
We are looking for two helpful and approachable individuals to become members of the Stores team. You will have good interpersonal and communication skills, be organised and have good computer skills and an attention to detail. Previous experience of working in stores within a scientific/academic environment would be an advantage however is not essential as full training will be provided. A clean driving licence and forklift licence would also be an advantage.
