Rural Field Officer for West Dorset
This exciting new four year post creates the opportunity for someone
passionate about rural Church to support, encourage and develop rural
ministry and mission, working with clergy and congregations across
You will bring your own gifts, experience and enthusiasm to work within a visionary team of Bishop, Archdeacon, rural deans, lay chairs and other resource officers. It would suit someone (lay or ordained) wanting to contribute to the life of the diocese and the rural church at a significant time.
We can offer:
A salary of £14,981 for 2.5 days (17.5 hrs)

The person we appoint will be:
Enthusiastic with a collaborative style of leadership who enjoys working with volunteers.
Willing to engage and encourage those of all levels of faith and experience of the Christian life.
Creative and proactive with the ability to work with clergy and local church leaders to develop forms of outreach and nurture.
