FINTEC recruit is seeking a Linux System Engineer based in Dublin or London. This is a permanent role with salary circa 40,000 euros. You will be working alongside other Systems Engineers, Network and Switching Engineers. You will have experience of database management and storage systems
Responsibilities:
- To scale up on infrastructure projects
- Optimizing and keep in sync the configurations across different platforms
- Monitoring and continuous improvements
- Maintain the systems security and integrity
- Systems analysis - Analyse the needs of the company in terms of systems
Skills and experience required for the Linux System Engineer role:
- Master degree in IT or equivalent by experience
- At least three years' experience in the IT industry
- knowledge of scripting languages like bash, perl
- knowledge of MySQL, database operations and Virtualization,
