We have a fantastic opportunity for an Education and Project Officer in the Waste Management team. Responsible for the delivery of projects and the introduction of new initiatives that form part of the Council’s sustainable waste management strategy, which aims to minimise waste, maximise reuse, recycling and composting and reduce the amount of waste sent for disposal.

The post is varied; the successful applicant will:

Act as the first contact for all internal and external operational waste management service issues with responsibility for delivering early problem resolution.

Monitor, review and update the A-Z, intranet and website and develop processes to manage customer information.

Develop and deliver bespoke waste minimisation initiatives to residents, schools, businesses; in partnership with voluntary sector organisations.
