Join our Virgin Media Business team as our Senior Product Manager - Mobile Small Office(SO) & Small/Medium Enterprise (SME) and you will shape and lead the development of our Virgin Media Business mobile offering. In addition you will work with customer insight, pricing, channel marketing, strategy and branding teams to maximise proposition and product impact through integrated b2b marketing campaigns to deliver the desired product financial performance, through and with our sales teams and channels.

Your responsibilities will be wide ranging, but principally you will be accountable for:

  • Create differentiation for Virgin Media Business mobile with Products and Services tailored to SoHO and SME customers. Delivering tangible customer benefits that accelerate our entry into the mobile market.
  • Launch great mobile products and sector specific product propositions that help Virgin Media Business win new customers and grow its business in SoHo, SME.
  • Identify market opportunities and define mobile product vision and strategy that compliment portfolio and contribute to Virgin Media Business revenue and operating cash flow budget and long range plan.
  • Understand customer needs, market trends, and technology opportunities and gather product requirements for product/portfolio and relevant adjacent markets
  • Develop new and enhance product capability for business mobile
  • Development of strategic partners to underpin, support or accelerate product growth plans
  • Engage closely with the IT, operations, architecture, transformation and project teams to help determine the best technical implementation methods as well as a reasonable execution schedule.
  • Work closely with channel marketing and sales teams to develop successful product proposition campaigns and channel/sales enablement to grow the product and portfolio of services.
  • With a "my business" mentality" work with finance and other stakeholders to build and maintain develop clear understanding of product P&L and develop and execute plans to optimise financial performance of in-life products or gain support for new investment opportunities.
  • Act as evangelist for product and portfolio across the business and with customers and other key market stakeholders gaining buying-in and support for product strategy.

  • Excellent in-depth market awareness within B2B Mobile market
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with proven ability to quickly absorb technical concepts and effectively communicate them to a non-technical audience.
  • Strong relationship building and management skills with the ability to influence and impact cross functional teams to ensure high quality product delivery and sales enablement.
  • BA/BSc (ideally technical or business degree) or equivalent experience
  • Post graduate marketing diploma CIM or equivalent experience
  • Experience delivering measureable results (through sales, marketing or product campaigns) in B2B mobile market. Understanding and experience of MVNOs useful.
  • Experience contributing to successful projects and effectively management virtual teams
