The Client

Role and Responsibilities

As part of a continued focus on developing and shaping our customer services and supporting our wider operational teams, we are looking for a Environmental Services Team Leader to join our Operations team. 

Reporting to the Environmental Services Manager you will manage the day-to-day provision of a grounds maintenance, cleaning, caretaking and rapid response service covering a specified region ensuring that the environment is maintained to required standards and providing a high quality customer service experience that delivers high levels of customer satisfaction and other performance targets.

You will provide management and leadership to a team, managing resources to ensure that objectives are achieved, whilst developing a detailed understanding of the issues and opportunities within our neighbourhoods. You will be developing local partnerships with other front facing service providers, operating in our neighbourhoods and contribute to maintaining and improving the appearance of our neighbourhoods, ensuring a highly visible presence, increasing customer confidence and offering reassurance.


Key Skills and Attributes

To be successful, you will have experience of leading and developing people to deliver high levels of customer service, whilst maintaining excellent partnership working with external agencies. You will have significant experience meeting deadlines and hitting targets in a customer facing role, leading an operational, multi-disciplinary team; whilst also having a knowledge and awareness of health and safety responsibilities.
