Are you a Driver with a full driving licence and no more than 3 points?

Are you seeking a role with ongoing training and development to gain industry recognised qualifications?
We have an outstanding opportunity for two new recruits to join a rapidly expanding Company that specialise in Pest Control.
The role entails training to become a qualified Pest Control Technician and you will be learning how to identify, control and rid commercial and domestic properties of pest infestations using chemicals and methods in order to ensure safe disposal of the pests and keeping mind of the health and safety to residents and public.
Although the role is based from Slough, the work will involve travel across the Home Counties in order to carry out work. Flexibility is needed on the hours in order to gain access to properties and will include some weekend work.
The successful candidate will be offered ongoing modular training to gain NVQ level 3 and industry recognised qualifications. The salary starts at GBP19,000 per annum with the use of a vehicle for business mileage, full PPE and will rise to GBP21,000 per annum when fully qualified and after 1 year circa GBP23,000 per annum plus overtime and bonus.
Responsibilities will include:
The investigation and identification of pests
Utilising the correct chemicals or equipment in order to safely rid the property of the pest infestation
Identification of where and how the pests enter the property and putting in place preventative measures in order that the pests are completely eradicated.
Laying chemicals, poisons and traps
Ensuring total adherance to health and safety and company processes and procedures
Speaking to customers and ensuring peace of mind
Completing all necessary paperwork
Advising and supporting customers with alternative services that may be required
You will be working with experienced Pest Control Technicians who have been fully educated and qualified in order to enhance your knowledge and ensure that you pass your training.
The role offers excellent variety, opportunity to utilise your customer liaison experience and put your keen interest in biology to the test!!
To carry out this role you will need:
Excellent communication skills both written and oral
A high level of education ie. Biology graduate or equivalent
Confident with the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a successful team
Physically fit in order to carry out the work that will include climbing of ladders and entering confined spaces
Good awareness of health and safety.
