Production Supervisor

Coulter Elite Resourcing - Recruitment Specialists are now recruiting a Production Supervisor for a food manufacturing client based in Spalding And surrounding areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join an established company who are specialists in their field.

As Production Supervisor , you will be responsible for circa 80- 120 production operatives within a packing facility. You will be managing the production operations, actively encouraging others, controlling labour and promoting a positive and safe working environment. You will be able to identify areas of weakness or risk and implement corrective action. The ideal candidate will have experience of working for a food manufacturing or packaging company.

Principle Responsibilities:-

• Manage a safe working environment meeting company standards
• To lead quality standards, food safety and hygiene
• Manage performance of all team members
• Train & Develop staff
• Process Improvement through use of KPI's
• Investigate non-conformances
• Recruit, Interview & hold disciplinary meetings

Person specification:-

• MUST have food manufacturing or packaging experience
• MUST have Production / Shift Manager / Supervisor experience
• Experience of lean
• Strong computer skills especially Excel
• Confident, forward thinking team player

This is a full time permanent position working days, 5am-5pm. on a rotational shift pattern Salary up to GBP35,000 p/a depending on experience plus excellent benefits including 22 days holiday (plus bank holidays) increasing by a day each year up to 25.
