About the Role
Manheim offers complete remarketing services, from the return of lease vehicles to aftersales services and beyond. Manheim Inspection Services are at the front end of the remarketing process, facilitating inspect & collect services for the largest leasing companies in the automotive industry.
Joining us as Planning Manager, you will oversee the scheduling/planning department; ensuring the collection and delivery of vehicles are within customer specified SLA’s. Coordinating the deployment of flexible resource (Inspectors, Drivers and vehicles), you will control a pool of vehicle fleet and effective pre-positioning of assets around the network to meet forecasted business demand and order and off hire rental cars and agency drivers, keeping daily hires to a minimum. You will also look to reduce the agency spend and keep to the lowest cost for necessary agency use.
We’re looking for a highly organised individual who has proven supervisory/managerial experience, preferably gained in the automotive industry. Experience of a role marshalled by tight deadlines and strict SLA’s would be an advantage.
You will have good commercial focus, experience working within a complex business and planning role and experience creating creative movement and planning schedules.
