My Public Sector Client, based in Birmingham City Centre is looking for a Java Software developer for a temporary assignment for about nine weeks.
The successful candidate will have experience working as a professional software developer. You will be required to develop Spring-Boot/Camel based Java microservices based on existing IBM WebSphere modules, to facilitate the re-architecting of their service platform and the removal of the WebSphere component.
The essential skills and experience my client is looking for include: significant experience developing software in Java - Java 8 Development: experience with the following technologies: Spring Web Framework, Hibernate ORM, GIT, SVN or other source control systems: Test Driven Development: Trunk Based Development: Querying and updating databases from code: Experience or a good understanding of Agile software development principles.
The desired skills and experience they are looking for is: Apache Camel Integration Framework: RabbitMQ Messaging Platform: Spring Hibernate: HTML, CSS: Code based database migration, JavaScript, TDD, BDD, Rest, SQL: Relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.).
This role is temporary and paying £7 p/hr going up to £9 p/hr after 13 working weeks. **Please note this role will require clearance**
