Joining our client's team in Cannock as an Inventory Planner, you will have the opportunity to build on your planning / supply chain knowledge in a supportive team.
Customer-focussed, you will help to maintain stock level to ensure timely deliveries and maintain the inventory management to meet customer demands. You will be expected to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders, confirming any delays to shipments that could impact customers. With good IT skills, you will compile reports and ensure that all relevant details are available for various functions across the company. You will also be expected to raise purchase orders, maintaining accurate order / supplier details and update delivery dates.
You’ll have an understanding of working within a Planning or Supply Chain environment and will be keen to acquire new skills from the team, learning from their expertise and guidance. You will have strong data analysis and numerical skills coupled with strong Excel knowledge. Ideally, you will be accustomed to working with high volume stock keeping units (SKUs) and will be comfortable working and adhering to set deadlines.
