The Company is a well-established manufacturer and renowned experts in precision machining, bonding and finishing engineering grade plastics. They supply global, blue-chip customers in industries including life sciences, medical devices and industrial applications with solutions including fluidic manifolds and optical components.
You will be Part of a small, friendly sales team, this role is a key interface between the clients and the sales and production teams.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, at the heart of the sales department, you will be responsible for liaising with both clients and internal personal to ensure client's Requests, for Quotation (RFQs), orders and general enquires are processed and responded to in a timely manner. Duties will include loading orders and RFQs into the planning system, issuing quotations, advising on delivery timing, following up on quotations, issuing order acknowledgements and dealing with general enquires. You will also support the sales team and general marketing activity in line with the ISO9001 quality management system.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Experience in an administration role
- Dealing professionally with clients on the phone and face to face
- Accuracy with numbers
- General IT skills including Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- A positive, can-do attitude to help other staff and clients wherever possible
Nice to have:
- Working in an ISO9001 based management system
- Sales environment experience
