A unique opportunity exists for a talented and experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join the company in order to realise their vision of being a dynamic career college. This is an exciting time to join the Group following the merger and represents a fantastic opportunity to drive transformational change for the students, employers and the communities.
They are looking for someone with a strong track record to join them to improve the impact, and understanding, of financial reporting on the Corporations performance. Providing analysis and delivering insight that links financial reports to organisational objectives and strategies, you must provide an effective commercial perspective, or initiate change, to ensure key operational, educational, commercial and financial targets are delivered.
As a strategically focused manager you will help to drive better decision making and ultimately better performance through the provision of timely, accurate and insightful financial analysis and commentary.
They are looking for someone with:
• Proven experience in the areas of financial planning, control and reporting
• Experience in the production of timely financial management information; budgetary review and variance analysis
• The ability to simplify financial systems and processes making reporting systems relevant
• Extensive experience of hands-on business partnering within a large multi-site organisation.
• A detailed understanding of recent developments in UK GAAP and FRS
• The drive to continually improve processes and seek new challenges
• Effective facilitation and conflict management resolutions skills
A CCAB qualification or equivalent and an appropriate management/project management qualification are also both required for the role. Experience in the FE sector is preferable.
