My client Primary school is very popular with parents and carers from the borough of Kingston and is well known for excellent academic results. The school offers a very inclusive and welcoming ethos and children and adults feel valued and connected.
The Headteacher would like to appoint an experienced Learning Support Assistant to work alongside a child with Autism in Year 2. Experience working with Autism would be advantageous but not essential however you will need previous experience working in 1:1 with a Primary school setting.
The child has been in school since Reception and is a positive and happy member of the Year 2 class. You will be working alongside an experience SEN team and have the opportunity to take a full part in school life and access to regular CPD.
Interviews will be arranged over the summer holidays with the successful candidate joining the team in September. The successful Teaching Assistant will either be Degree qualified or have a NVQ / CACHe Level 3 in Education.
