Our client is a large environmental, planning and landscape consultancy with a proven track record of preparing, designing and executing a wide range of projects that balance development needs and environmental protection for both the public and private sectors.
They are now seeking an experienced town planner with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the planning industry to join their team in London.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering into a broad range of consents work.
Experience of the Planning Act 2008 or other direct government approvals process is desirable, alongside excellent written and communication skills. Must have a sound knowledge and experience of the UK planning system, plus experience of liaising with planning authorities and stakeholders. Must be able to understand town and country planning consents process. Must hold a degree in town planning and be a chartered member of the RTPI.
Excellent packages are available for the right candidate subject to experience
