Are you a dedicated Teaching Assistant who is looking for a new role?

Are you a versatile and creative Teaching Assistant who looks for the best in their pupils?
The school is looking for someone who understands and has experience teaching the UK Curriculum. It is essential you have recent classroom experience and excellent communication skills with an enthusiastic approach. The ideal candidate will also have excellent skills with building good relationships with their peers and pupils. As a teaching assistant, you will be working within enthusiastic classes providing support in class and assist in lesson planning. You will also help in maintaining discipline in accordance with the school's procedures and encourage good practice.

The ideal applicant will have the following;
- Primary Teaching Assistant
- Suitable for NQT's
- Previous experience of working with children with additional needs, in particular communication and interaction needs
- Ability to form positive relationships with children and members of the team
- Strategies to manage challenging behaviours calmly and effectively
- Ability to plan for, assist and support the pupil, paying particular attention to the outcomes laid out in the EHCP, under the guidance of the class teacher and inclusion leader
-A proven track record of understanding how children learn and have a range of strategies for supporting them to achieve accelerated progress
-Ability to build honest and positive relationships with parents

Whilst our first priority is always the right person for the child and our school, we are particularly interested in meeting professionals with knowledge of ASD and managing challenging behaviours.

It is desirable for the successful candidate to have NVQ 2 (or equivalent) or higher qualification.
