Quality Engineer

SF Group are currently looking for a Plant Quality Engineer with strong problem solving capability to be a strong representative in front of their customer.

This position has come about through business growth within the company's sector.

Day to Day Responsibilities include:

• As a key member of the quality function, you will have a primary focus on facing the customer and investigating any new or ongoing internal quality issues within the production facility
• Leading reviews and reports on non-conformance data, you will assist the quality manager in the supply of reporting data for problem resolution and customer satisfaction
• Robust problem solving action will be taken by 8D analysis
• On a project basis, you will drive PPAPs through the quality system to ensure on time delivery and fire walls are put in place for ful production runs
• Embark upon quality projects to deliver added value to the business and help grow the outreach of the quality function

The ideal person will be/have:

• You will have a strong background working within manufacturing with the ability to effectively problem solve, particularly through 8D Analysis.
• Preferably you will have an understanding of metal fabrication
• The ability to demonstrate technical competency when speaking to internal and external stakeholders
• The willingness to work afternoon shifts

For the relevant candidate this position will pay a salary in the range of GBP34,000 - GBP38,000 with additional benefits available.

The company are willing to look at candidates with slightly less experience with the view of taking them on developing their skill set through various training courses.
