Randstad are able to offer a permanent position with a leading engineering company. We are looking for individuals who have experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment in an Assembly position.
Benefits
* Rate of pay can be flexible dependant on experience
* 6 am to 6 pm (four day week)
* Contributory pension in line with current legislation

* 30 days holiday including statutory
Assembly Fitter Role
* Comply with company processes and procedures regarding Quality and Health & Safety.
* Complete assembly and fitting operations on machined components
* Adhere to customer assembly specifications where applicable
* Ensure all jobs are booked operating time is allocated to the correct operations
* Highlight production issues to the appropriate Team Leader.
* Support training and development activities as requested by the Production Manager
* Ensure all equipment used is in calibration and good operating condition
* Assist Engineering in the development of method and tooling solutions for new projects
* Adopt a continuous improvement mind-set when running jobs and highlight improvement opportunities to the appropriate Team Leader or Engineer
* Highlight machine / equipment issues to the Maintenance Engineer
