TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE ROLE?
You will be an ambitious manager with a second-to-none team management capacity, excellent financial and commercial understanding, a passion for the agricultural industry and its products, and exhibit a first-class approach to customer service. As Branch Manager you will oversee a team of dedicated professionals covering sales, aftersales and administration, ensure profitability, and continue to promote the Branch as the goto local business for the highest quality products and service.

Areas of responsibility:

  • Overall Branch profitability via its commercial activities, budgetary input, and working towards and exceeding given KPIs
  • Managing key customer accounts as well as developing business relationships with new customers within the assigned trading territory in order to increase sales
  • Day-to-day management and motivation of Branch staff
  • Promotion of a strong and successful customer service ethic throughout the Branch
  • Ensure the Branch is a secure working environment for staff by ensuring their adherence to Health & safety and other relevant Company policies
  • Act as an ambassador for the Company and its products through Branch-level, local and national events

WHAT QUALITIES DO I NEED?

  • Previous experience in a managerial / supervisory position
  • A strong commercial understanding showing knowledge of profits, margins and business development
  • Sound knowledge of farming and the agricultural machinery industry
  • A demonstrable ability to work towards given targets and KPIs
  • Excellent communication and IT skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • A proactive approach to problem solving
  • A clean driving licence, living in or prepared to relocate to East Sussex
