We are recruiting a Chef de Partie for our luxury care complex in Chertsey.
This is a great job in a young dynamic organisation who believes that nothing is impossible.
The salary for our Chef de Partie is up to GBP12.00 per hour DOE
You will support and assist the Chefs in varied areas such as:
Day to day food preparation
Ensure the cleaning schedule is adhered to and that cleaning tasks are delegated as appropriate.
Ensure that stock is rotated and controlled within the specific section of the kitchen.
Maintain a detailed Knowledge of the full menu and be able to explain dish descriptions.
Ensure that dishes are prepared and cooked in your area, according to the specific restaurant standards
You will need to have the following skills as well as a great personality, be well presented, flexible and a dedicated hard worker.
Our Chef de Partie must have at least 1 year appropriate experience and relevant qualifications pertaining to the safe delivery of Food & Hygiene/ Catering Services. NVQ Level 1 or 2 or equivalent City & Guilds.
Have a strong awareness of Health & Safety.
Our Chef de Partie must be a team Player, Self-Motivated, Pro Active, Flexible & Adaptable.
Able to prioritise work load and be able to work under pressure.
Our Chef de Partie must have very good communication skills.
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
