Job Description:
The successful Embedded Software Engineer will be working to develop, test and maintain software to meet client's needs and new product development.
Knowledge and Experience:
Required:
3-5 years' experience with C/C++ in an embedded environment.
2+ years' experience with Linux development, preferable on an embedded platform.
Some experience of OpenCV, STL, Boost.
Degree or relevant qualification in the field of Electronics.
Desirable:
Experience with Qt and/or Web User Interface Development.
Windows Development experience
MEng/MSc in Embedded Systems
Duties and Responsibilities for the Embedded Software Engineer:
To write, test and maintain computer programs and associated documentation to specifications agreed with the Technical Director / Development Manager.
To liaise with clients, business partners and others in the development and deployment of programs.
To undertake ancillary tasks associated with the development, deployment and marketing of products and systems. Demonstration, technical support and commissioning of programs and systems at client and business partner sites.
