OX Seven are working with one of the UK's leading food companies who supply their range of products to an impressive array of customers in the retail and food service sectors. Due to a recent merger and growth they are looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a vibrant site based in Shropshire.
We want to speak to people who have:
* Minimum of Mechanical City & Guilds
* Time served apprenticeship
* 17th edition or equivalent electrical qualification
* NVQ or equivalent in electrical diagnostic
* Mechanical certification would be desirable but in not essential if you are able to demonstrate relevant experience in a manufacturing/ production environment
* Multi skilled in mechanical/electrical
* Used to working on own initiative, be proactive and able to work as a team member
* Flexible in terms of working hours, place of work
* Computer literate and used to working with a planned maintenance system (Mainsaver or CMMS)
* Possess fault diagnostic skills on Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Electrical and Mechanical equipment
* Able to interpret schematic drawings
Desirable requirements:
* Conversant with LEAN and continuous improvement techniques
* Experience of involvement in project installations and machine enhancements and improvements to efficiency
* FMCG experience, preferably in the food industry

What are your key responsibilities?
* Provide essential repairs and maintenance service within the production department
* Ensure that the plant machinery and equipment meets agreed standards of performance and complies with company policies and procedures
* Planned maintenance activities and project work
* Installations and authorised machine enhancements
Package:
* Salary GBP29,580
* GBP6,000 shift pay - 4 on 4 off days and nights shift pattern (6.00am 6.30pm and 6.00pm to 6.30am)
