Health Care Assistant:

HCA's will ideally have an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care. Previous knowledge and experience off challenging behaviour and autism is very desirable. They will be providing personal care and supporting the Nurses that are in charge. We need full and part time staff. There are days and nights available. Personality wise they need to be confident, friendly and able to engage with residents. They need to be able to diffuse situations and deal with episodes of challenging behavior.

NURSE:

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client who is one of the leading care home groups in the UK and require a Registered Nurse for a home in Leicester & Essex.

The Registered Nurse will promote a high standard of nursing care, ensure all staff are supervised appropriately and the shift runs in a smooth and efficient manner.

The successful candidate will perform all general nursing duties, follow CQC and NMC guidelines, report to the home manager, update care plans and administer safe medication.

You will provide a high standard of care and work within a team as well as on your own initiative.

Requirements:

- Nurses need to have no restrictions on their pin

-They need to have completed there UK preceptor-ship

- You must have excellent communication and written skills and have previous experience working within a nursing home or elderly care setting.

- Self-motivated, resilient and well-organised, you will be a team player but also be required to work on your own initiative.

- You will be dependable, able to work well under pressure and flexible to meet the needs of the residents and the home.

- As a key member of the team you will contribute to the leadership of the service engaging with Healthcare Assistants as well as the dedicated Nursing team within the home.
