Our client, a successful company in the seating refurbishment industry has an opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to join their team in Ecclesfield, Sheffield.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with Management
- Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; receiving bids from contractors
- Determine project specifications by studying project design, cutsomer requirements and performance standards and preparing cost estimates
- Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests
- Determines project schedule by studying project plan, time requirements and sequencing of project elements
- Maintains project schedule
- Preparation of Project Status Reports
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by e forcing procedures, rules and regualtions
- Maintaining project database by writing computer programmes and backing up data
- Maintaining Company and Product reputation by complying with regulations
- Contributes to team effort
About You:
- Excellent Project Engineer/Management and organisational/planning skills
- Great attention to detail to ensure high levels of quality
- Excellent communication skills to communicate clearly and persuasively with your team, managers and customers
- The ability to work under pressure and motivate others to meet tight deadlines
- The ability to work in a logical, systematic manner
Ideally our client would like someone who has experience of working within the rail industry but this is not essential.
This role will be 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday (some weekends may be required)
