Bright Horizons, voted Great Place to Work for the last 13 consecutive years, are looking for a Field Based Recruitment Coordinator, to join an exciting team within the Recruitment Department - Bright Start.

Our Bright Start team focus on developing and training an internal, Bright Horizons employed, flexible working pool of candidates, which our nurseries can turn to when needed. Within this role, you will be accountable for recruiting, interviewing and hiring our colleagues in Scotland - specifically Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen.

Duties and Responsibilities

Being field based, you will be regularly visiting and working onsite at our Scotland nurseries, supporting with the day to day recruitment - including but not limited to;

Advertising available vacancies across appropriate job boards/ websites.
Developing and maintaining relationships with colleges and job centres. Attending open days and events as necessary.
Proactively sourcing candidates and managing recruitment leads, identifying and executing localised candidate sourcing campaigns,
Telephone screening and deciding on suitability of candidates for interview.
Arranging and conducting interviews including venues, logistics and candidate communication - selecting suitable staff to join our Nursery Bank Team.
Making job offers and confirming acceptance.
Collecting identification documents and confirming necessary information regarding pre-employment checks.
Liaising with our internal Compliance team to arrange for pre-employment checks to take place, including a handover with candidate to signpost next steps.
Planning your diary effectively, to ensure visibility and presence across your key group of nurseries

Recommended Experience / Knowledge / Skills

Previous experience within fast paced recruitment
Strong IT skills including Windows applications, Applicant Tracking Systems and Employee Databases.
Ability to work unsupervised, with excellent time management and prioritisation skills
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast paced, target driven role with good problem solving and negotiation skills
Excellent communication skills at all levels including both written and verbal and ensuring a high level of attention to detail with an enquiring mind.
Strong rapport building ability
Confidential and sensitive approach
Driving Licence and willingness to travel
Experience working within temporary recruitment and/ or the Childcare sector would be advantageous, but not essential
