Electronics Technician
3MD are a specialist Technical Recruitment Business and we are currently recruiting for one of our well established clients who require an electronics technician to join their business on a full time permanent basis.
This role will be working in the repair workshop and will involve working with single phase and three phase circuits and electronics. Faulty or damaged units will be sent to our client for repair and it is the job of the electronics technician to carry out full fault finding (using oscilloscopes) using schematic drawings and carry out de-soldering of faulty components and repair of the PCB's using manual soldering techniques.
To be successful in this role you must have recent experience of single and three phase electronics, you must be able to read electronics schematic diagrams, be able to fault find to component level and have excellent manual soldering skills. If candidates also have an electronics qualification this will further enhance their application.
