We are seeking an AWS Cloud Implementation Engineer that enjoys the full lifecycle of building and maintaining AWS cloud solutions. You’ll have a passion for client facing work, feed on variety and enjoy deep and broad technical learning – perhaps adding Azure into your skillset.

You may currently be a Level 3 Cloud Infrastructure Analyst that has an emerging technical architecture skillset or a senior systems administrator with a passion for scripting and coding and 1 years exposure to cloud design, deployment and network operations.

What sort of technologies will you be exposed to?

+ We deploy and support customer solutions on Azure, AWS, and VMware
+ We make use of scripting languages for automation including BASH, PowerShell, Python
+ We use automation frameworks such as Ansible, Cloud Formation, Circle CI
+ The customers we are supporting are building on frameworks such as Magento, Wordpress, Drupal, Sitecore, Kentico, Umbraco, etc.
+ Our clients are building bespoke applications in Node.js, Python, PHP, C#, VB.net, Ruby, Rust, Go, and other modern languages.
+ Our Linux deployments are typically making use of Ubuntu, Apache/NGINX, and MySQL/MariaDB
+ Our Windows deployments are on Windows 2012/2016, using IIS & MSSQL.
+ We run a bespoke monitoring platform built on a distributed CheckMK setup, and also make use of the AWS and Azure log aggregation and monitoring tools. 

Key responsibilities for this role are: 

+ Cloud Design - Architecting
+ Cloud Formation - Building 
+ Documentation 
+ Variety of rolling project based work
+ Acting as point of escalation for the support team

We’re looking for:

+ AWS experience level – being certified in either AWS or Azure is a bonus 
+ Senior problem-solving sysadmin skills (L3) around web technologies 
+ Demonstrable prior experience delivering and diagnosing Linux and Windows based web platforms
+ Enthusiastic ownership of delivery of a solution from design documentation through to final delivery
