New Frankley in Birmingham is an Urban Parish Council which is located in the south west area of Birmingham. The Council serves an electorate of approximately 5,900 and is seeking to appoint a Assistant Clerk to support the Clerk to the Council.

The Council is therefore, seeking someone who ideally has previous experience working as an Assistant Clerk and has knowledge of local government procedures. Ideally you will be CiLCA qualified (or willing to obtain the qualification within 12 months of appointment) and Computer Literate.

Salary SPC 18 to SPC 22) (LC1) (£18,870 to £21,074)) pro rata
(Starting salary dependent upon qualifications and experience)

This is a part time position (estimated 50 hours per month) working from the Parish Office and from Home.
