Job Description:
Service Scheduler at leading garage equipment supply & service company based in Morpeth, required to process customer jobs & schedule engineer visits. Gott Technical Services is a market-leading supplier, installer and maintainer of garage workshop equipment that has been in business for 38 years. We have a great range of clients including large automotive dealer groups, independent garages, bus companies, logistics firms, local authority and emergency services. The role of the Service Scheduler is to ensure that all planned maintenance contract visits and helpdesk calls are planned effectively so that a reliable and profitable service can be provided to our customers. This involves receiving calls from our clients for planned maintenance visits and equipment breakdowns and processing those through to completion by effective scheduling of our service engineers. How This Will Be Achieved This will be achieved by: Effective planning of all received calls Good communication with our engineering team and customers Good communication with the rest of the team Effective processing of paperwork and data entry on our service management system Required Tasks Receive calls from customers and schedule them in our service management system and plan the engineers' and sub-contractors' routes. Book visits in with customers by phone. Communicate visit requirements to engineers and sub-contractors. Send emails to customers confirming the agreed date of their contract visits Update call details on our service management system following completion of jobs. Key to this job is knowing the status of calls at all times and working to ensure the calls are completed as swiftly as possible and within agreed SLAs. Work with the Stores & Purchasing Controller to ensure spares are received promptly Quote customers for repairs/remedials etc. Continuously update our service management and CRM system with call related information. To Achieve Success in This Role You Will Have an excellent telephone manner. Be thorough and have good attention to detail. Have a desire to satisfy our customers by providing an excellent level of service. Be able to plan your time effectively so that all office tasks can be achieved. Have a fair level of literacy and numeracy. Have a friendly, outgoing manner and the ability to form relationships with customers and prospects. Have the ability to effectively plan our workloads using our service management system call scheduler. Have a tenacity to chase up outstanding calls and get results for our customers. Build a good rapport with our engineering team. Actively participate in our team and contribute ideas to help us grow our business.
