An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified heating technician to join our team as the Heating Services Team Manager.

As part of our Direct Maintenance Service you will effectively drive all aspects of heating installation, servicing and repair works. You will also be responsible for ordering materials and specifying works for any installations (heating and renewables) to manage and ensure all works are completed within financial budget constraints.

You will deliver a first class service, an important part of your role is to encourage exceptional performance from your team of engineers. You will use your motivational skills to drive and deliver the service, repair and installation programs. Within this key role you will supervise day-to-day work and manage the workload of up to 12 engineers. Proactive in your approach, you will also deliver installation, service, repair and maintenance works in accordance with agreed targets and procedures.

You will also provide data and reports in relation to your work, ensuring compliance across all types of heating services for NCHA, preparing and maintaining Health and Safety files in line with Construction (Design and Management) regulations 2015.

Desirable Requirements for the role

·         NVQ or equivalent qualification

·         Valid CPA1 Certificate or Competence

·         Current ACS accreditation in CCN1, CKR1, HTR1, CENWAT1 and MET1, CODC1, TPCP1A

·         G3 certificate in unvented hot water systems

·         WRAS water regulations certificate of competence

·         Part L energy efficiency practitioner

·         Hold SMSTS qualifications

·         Have good IT skills including MS Excel and MS Word

·         Heating Project/Contractor management experience

·         Knowledge of CDM 2015
