We currently have an opportunity for a Multi Skilled Operative (Joinery) to join our team in Worsley.

Within this role, you will be responsible for effecting repairs to the housing stock as required by the Client and to work effectively within a cohesive operations repairs service. You will cover multi trade operations including emergency, repairs and voids, and will work closely with the teams.

Although you may be asked to carry out day to day repairs, the role mainly includes working on void properties, to specifications set out by our client in accordance to their lettable standard.

In order to be successful in this role, you will be multi-skilled with Joinery being your core trade along with skills in plumbing (able to fit complete bathroom suite using hot works) and, ideally, the ability to plaster. With a relevant trade qualification, you will be able to fit full kitchens including plumbing in of the sink, internal and external doors, floors, floor boarding, architraves skirting boards etc, and also repairs to uPVC windows and doors.

With strong time management skills, the Multi Skilled Operative will have experience of preparing all paperwork including timesheets, accurate descriptions of work carried out, estimating repair requirements, trades alongside job coding and costing. Moreover, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual with the ability to succeed. Successful Operatives will also be added to the branch out of hours rota.
