Your key responsibilities:


You will be based in Osterley (West London). Travel between Sky sites may be required from time-to-time.

You will report to the Senior Tax Manager; this is a key international tax role offering plenty of variety in terms of transfer pricing, tax advisory and project work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

- Helping to manage inter-company pricing for new and existing supplies of goods and services, ensuring all transactions are priced on an arm's length basis, are aligned with transfer pricing regulations and supported by appropriate documentation
- Supporting specific pan-European or cross border deals, international M&A work, and structuring projects
- Providing effective tax support and advice to the business including advising on the tax implications of external contracts and transactions
- You will be working collaboratively with the tax teams in the overseas markets to identify, manage and report any tax risks and opportunities
- Ensuring appropriate overseas tax submissions are made on a timely basis
- You will be providing support when undertaking reviews of CFC and permanent establishment risks
- Working with Sky Technology team to produce the Group's R&D tax relief claim
- Working with other members of the tax team on planning projects as appropriate

Your skills:


You will already have some knowledge and experience of international tax matters, communicate effectively with a variety of audiences, generate value-adding solutions to tax issues and good project management skills, and a desire to learn and develop in an exciting and stimulating corporate environment.


- Professional tax skills - likely to be ACA and / or CTA (or equivalent)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills - ability to explain complex issues clearly and simply to non-experts and people for whom English is not a first language
- Focus on delivery, with excellent time-management skills
- Personal accountability and a high level of attention to detail
- Good team-player able to build personal networks across Tax and Finance, and with other partners in the business
- Confident and self-motivated, with ability to work on own initiative
- Experience of and an interest in the media or technology sector would be helpful
