Stock Scheduler

I am currently recruiting for a great opportunity for someone looking to build on their experience within purchasing and procurement and join a busy team as a Stock Scheduler. Working within a successful retail environment, cash flow, operational efficiency and availability of stock at the right time are critical. The successful applicant will be proactive and be able to work on their own initiative. This role is to work with, and support colleagues, to continuously review and adjust supply side deliveries to maximise product availability while minimising stock levels.

The main roles and responsibilities for this role are:

• Working across the supply base communicate on a regular basis with suppliers ensuring orders and production are on schedule and in line with the order tracker
• Reviewing the stock and sales position and maintain the delivery schedule to ensure orders are despatched on time to achieve the desired delivery date
• Manage suppliers and freight forwarders on a regional basis and where applicable split & consolidate orders across the supply base maintaining delivery efficiency and stockholding kpi's
• Working with imports coordinator and freight forwarders to plan despatch and shipping dates maintaining required delivery dates
• Updating of key stakeholders where suppliers are not achieving required completion dates throughout the order process
• As orders near completion dates review current stock and sales position to assess despatch date requirements and possible changes
• Working with merchandisers and suppliers and agree despatch dates to achieve required delivery dates whilst maintaining all stock kpi's
• Maintain all systems with accurate shipping data and despatch and arrival dates
