Looking for your next step in a senior support worker role or already a senior support worker and looking for a more varied and exciting role?

We are looking for a kind, caring and confident individual to step into our senior support worker vacancy based in Trafford covering multiple supported living and outreach services for Children and Adults with Learning Disabilities and Physical Disabilities.

This is a role that allows you a lot of variety working with a large cross section of the community.

You will be taking a supervisory role- assessing and supporting staff to ensure that our service users are provided with the highest standards of care and quality of life.

The role covers areas in Trafford including Hale, Altrincham, Sale, Stretford, Urmston and Old Trafford and as such there will be a lot of travel involved with no two days being the same.

It is therefore essential that you are a Driver with your own car- All mileage whilst on shift will be paid.

As the perfect person for this job you will have a number of years experience working with a similar client group and have an understanding of the care requirements for adults and children with learning disabilities.

In order to be considered for the role you must already hold your NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent.

As you will be responsible for appraisals and supervisions of staff it is also essential that you have had experience of leading or supervising a team within a similar role.
