Reporting directly to the cell leader, this position requires the skill to prepare cable assemblies, wiring harness manufacture, electro mechanical assembly, optical component assembly, and sub-assembly build. This role demands a good technical skill set, the desire to produce consistent workmanship to a high standard, and the ability to work well within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
The role has a number of key responsibilities and is central to day to day business operations. Given the expectations of our customers, and the markets we serve, considerable emphasis is placed on the production of high quality workmanship. The key responsibilities include:-
To work as an additional member of the box build team involved in the manufacture of a variety of assemblies.
Where necessary be able to work under your own initiative.
To be able to deliver work to agreed timescales.
To be capable of working to consistently high standards and have a desire to achieve excellence.
To support the philosophy of the company, and its culture.
To work in a safe manner, and adhere to all defined health and safety practices.
To help and mentor others where appropriate.
Help resolve problems in a positive manner
