There is currently an excellent opportunity for a Pub Manager to join the team. The Role: As a Pub Manager you will have overall responsibility for the pub, managing the staff, handling deliveries, managing budgets and taking overall legal responsibility for the premises. Key Roles & Responsibilities: • Recruiting, training and motivating your staff • Doing regular stock-takes and ordering as necessary • Handling deliveries • Maintaining the condition of beer and wine • Keeping up to date with licensing legislation, liaising with the authorities and taking overall legal responsibility for the premises • Enforcing health and safety rules • Adhering to budgets, increasing profits and managing cashflow • Dealing with difficult customers The Candidate: To be considered for the role of Pub Manager, you must be presentable and sociable with the ability to be firm with customers to control order if required. Previous experience and a proven track record in pub management is essential.
