We have a fantastic opportunity for a Full Time Conference sales manager working in a highly motivated Revenue team,

As Conference Manager you will be totally customer focused, be part of the management team following the strategies to grow the business through proactive selling and effective conversion of all enquiries. , it will be your responsibility to manage, train, and develop the conference team and to ensure their workload is managed effectively. You will work closely with the Revenue and General Manager to implement agreed pricing strategies in order to maximise every opportunity to ensure you exceed budget.

Main Responsibilities:

Manage all client contact for new enquiries, amendments and final details
Pro-actively identify customer needs and provide solutions to match them and effectively communicate with clients throughout the booking process
Promoting the Hotel spaces through inspiring show rounds and client meetings.
Liaise with the operational team to ensure all event details are handed over so that service is delivered to meet and exceed the client expectations
To ensure all diaries and systems are kept up to date and identify areas of sales opportunity.
To provide administration support for all conference and banqueting operations.
To ensure the client / event files in properly updated with contact and payment details, special request and requirements, etc
Ensure full understanding and management of client requirements
To identify and pass on leads and information on potential business to the Sales Manager
To proactively cross-sell and up-sell the hotel services and being aware of new offers and packages
QULIFICATION AND REQUIRMENTS

A passion for delivering great customer service
Previous conference and event experience
Strong communication and leadership experience.
Understanding of the hotels facilities and services
Good knowledge of the local market
Enthusiastic and reliable with a positive attitude
Able to work independently as well as alongside other departments
Exceptional organisation skills with a keen eye for detail
Smart and well presented
Friendly and approachable (with customers and staff alike)
