Mechanical Maintenance Technician - Permanent - GBP Salary + Benefits - Manufacturer - North East
Our client is a Top tier COMAH regulated manufacturing company based in the north - east of England. They are currently seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician on a permanent staff basis to join their company.
There is a clear plan in place for this individual; thereby, the aim is to develop and progress the individual from a Technician to an Engineering position within the company. It is a fantastic opportunity, which will provide all the necessary training, industrial experience; that will be fundamental to career progression
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Carrying out planned preventive maintenance duties (PPM).
* Attending breakdowns and reactive maintenance work.
* Experience and knowledge on various mechanical equipment's/machineries.
* Working with the senior engineer to problem solve and effectively identify work priorities.
* To ensure that customers and stakeholders are supported in their operational needs as and when needed.
* Identify and carry out plant modification work to help enhance both plant safety and efficiency.
Person Specification:
Education:
* Preferably qualified HNC or HND, B-TECH in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent level of experience and/or qualification.
Experience:
* Preferably previous experience of work within chemical, oil, petrochemical sectors or any hazardous, COMAH regulated or equivalent environments
