Job Description Berry Recruitment are recruiting for a talented passionate chef to join a team in the Uttoxeter area. Working within a large school your duties will include the following -
Ensuring a consistently high standard of culinary produce - including preparation, cooking and presentation - consistent with practical economy.
Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant Health & Safety procedures
Maintaining the highest standards of hygiene in the preparation and cooking of food.
Maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen equipment and the kitchen areas.
In the absence of the Chef Supervisor, supervise the Catering assistants.
Carrying out such other duties as may reasonably be required by the Catering Manager.
In the absence of management staff, supervising the allocation of staff to jobs.
Working 5 days over 7 with a mixture of shifts 7am-3pm / 8am-4pm / 10.30-7pm.
