Hunter Global are actively recruiting for a Mechanical Installer / Team Leader to operate at our client site in the North Yorkshire area.
Our client is an independent agricultural-processing specialist, manufacturing and installing drying and conveying equipment and silos. Offering unbiased advice on a choice of crop drying and handling equipment, Our client is an invaluable asset in the seed and Grain industry. Due to increased demand and company expansion, there is a need to recruit a Mechanical Installer / Team Leader to join their team.
Responsibilities and Duties -
• Organising the full installation of handling plants both on farms and commercial sites.
• Operating throughout the UK, the Mechanical Installer / Team Leader will use their organisational skills to manage a team of experienced fitters ensuring that work is completed on time and to specification.
• The role demands working away on occasions as well as operating from the company head office
• This is a hands-on role and can be very demanding, so we do ask that the individual can be committed to the business within business hours
• The ideal candidate will preferably have obtained industry experience preferably of mechanically installing conveyors and elevators.
• You will be capable of reading installation drawings i.e. CAD drawings.
• Would prefer you to have Mweps and telehandler licences but this is not essential.
• Confident with working at heights, you will work alongside your team of fitters in their endeavours on site and at the head office.
• We are looking for a motivated, positive and dedicated team player that enjoys achieving goals and satisfying customer needs.
Education -
• Will ideally hold a recognised Mechanical Engineering Degree / Qualification
