My client based in Canary Wharf is currently recruiting for an Assistant Scheme Assurance Manager to come and work alongside their vibrant, lively and dedicated team and have Primary responsibility for the operation, reviewing and updating of the relevant subset of controls and accurately and succinctly documenting these. My client operates in the financial services and is located in the Canary Wharf area.
Your new role as an Assistant Scheme Assurance Manager will require you to set up appropriate and efficient tests to establish the efficiency of those controls by instructing the testing team.
You will be further responsible for Analysing process steps and testing and documenting whether these are being carried out effectively. You will also be monitoring and reporting the team's progress on allocated tasks, against annual activity targets and Engaging with audit and compliance activity as required, and being able to demonstrate audit evidence to back up work completed.
My client is looking for someone who has Operational experience gained within a financial services environment ( familiarity with pension scheme operations would be a distinct advantage.) They are further looking for a strong communicator with good presentational and listening skills.
The candidate is likely to be degree educated but the right aptitude, experience and skills are more important than educational achievements
