I have a fantastic opportunity with NHS Digital for a Project Officer role based in Leeds. This role is a temporary assignment for initially 7 months with view to being extended thereafter

Description:

Portfolio, Programme or Project Management

Proven ability and experience of successfully supporting the delivery of projects or programmes, from initiation to completion, within a complex environment, to agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality.

Experience of supporting the planning process, scheduling and controlling and reporting activities, using the organisations recognised framework and methodology.

Experience of applying programme or project management practices, tools and techniques and using effective quality, risk & issue management and planning strategies.

Experience of tracking risks, issues and benefits and reporting these to the programme or project team.

Strong understanding of document management controls and processes and experience of maintaining libraries of documentation (e. a configuration log) including version control and document status.

Significant experience of supporting complex administration support functions and teams within a project or programme environment, e. assurance and project review meetings.

Proven ability and experience of supporting, and providing guidance on, administration processes, procedures, tools and techniques to managers and their teams.

Proven ability to effectively use document management techniques.

Experience of facilitating events.

Information Management and Reporting

Proven ability to collect, analyse and manipulate data and information, including investigating and documenting issues and solutions, as part of compiling high quality reports for senior managers.

Evidence of taking action independently and anticipating opportunities when supporting a project or programme.

Ability to make timely and effective decisions, based on an ability to locate, analyse and manipulate information, with minimum guidance.

Ability to collate and communicate complex information within the scope of the role?s responsibilities, e. high quality reports and information about the project or programme to a range of internal and external stakeholders in a variety of different formats, within challenging deadlines.
