The Cockwells design team are looking for an efficient Design Draughtsperson to produce construction drawings for the yard team.

An essential skill for this role is to be able to use Rhino3D and Solidworks software and be confident in producing a wide range of 2D drawings and 3D models for a variety of components required in the build of a Cockwells launch.

Build drawings will need to be of the quality to go out onto the shop floor or be sent to subcontractors to work from. This could include 3D models being sent away for 3D printing or CNC cutting. The candidate must be happy to work with others and to an existing drawing system.

An important role the employee will be responsible for will be to update drawings of components that have previously been built by going into the yard and checking them for themselves.

Previous experience in the marine industry sought after but not essential.
