Accounts Assistant (9 Months FTC)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant within a hugely successful Scunthorpe based company, joining their friendly team on a fixed term contract of 9 months + to cover maternity however for the right candidate this could lead to a permanent role.
Salary: £17,000- £19,000 (D)
Hours: 9-5 Monday- Friday

Reporting to the Management Accountant, you will assist the department with all accounts related duties.
- Processing sales and purchase invoices
- Processing payments for weekly payroll
- Processing starters, leavers, statutory payments and holiday pay
- Resolving purchase ledger queries
- Credit Control
- Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
- Providing support to the department with any other duties
- Good communicator
- Attention to detail
- Previous experience within a similar role
- Competent with all Microsoft packages
- Mustbe confident using Excel
- AAT qualified or be studying towards AAT, otherwise qualified by experience
