I have a fantastic opportunity with NHS Digital for a PA role based in London. This role is a temporary assignment for initially 3 months with view to being extended thereafter.


  • Providing high quality business support including expert, efficient, and effective secretariat support to Corporate meetings and Board meetings
  • Provide Virtual Board Room support (previous Board pack preparation required) ensuring packs are constructed to the correct quality and published in line with the agreed timescales and meeting schedules
  • Provide secretariat support to corporate meetings, ensuring agendas are comprehensively created, of the correct quality, papers commissioned, processed and published in line with agreed timescales. All meeting preparation will be adequately organised, to include securing meeting venues, provision of hospitality, managing invitations for additional attendees and providing comprehensive chair & secretariat briefs.
  • Provide Virtual Board Room (VBR) administrative support to all corporate meetings, ensuring that all meeting papers are correctly processed, VBR packs constructed to the correct quality and published in line with agreed timescales and meeting schedules.
  • Responsible for updating the management Key Performance Indicators (KPI) spreadsheet for corporate meetings to keep track of the documents received quality & format which feeds into the Finance & Corporate Services Performance Pack on a monthly basis.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and updating of the intranet Governance pages in a timely manner to ensure NHS Digitals governance information internally provides complete, accurate and timely information and messages.
  • Responsible for managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in an efficient, effective and timely manner.
  • Responsible for working to set deadlines, and for negotiating successful outcomes with senior stakeholders when deadlines are at risk of not being met.

  • Skills & Experiences:

    • A detailed understanding of how to coordinate and administer meetings including experience of updating action logs
    • Experience of working within a high pressured environment with competing priorities and previous experience of working for Directors
    • Previous experience of providing support including diary and email management
