Our client offers a London-based commercial moving and storage service. They are the market leaders and have held the largest share of the UK’s business moving market for more than ten years, expanding their services by responding to the needs of customers.
They have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive (Desk Based) to join their Business Relocation team at their offices in Glasgow where you will identify and develop business relocation quoting opportunities for the Glasgow branch, and the rest of the region. This role can be offered on a 3 or 5 day per week contract.
Within the role you will use the lead sources provided to qualify and manage each new lead, identifying needs and demands and creating opportunities. Researching key target organisations, you will participate in targeted marketing campaigns whilst arranging appointments for field based sales staff and keeping the company CRM system up to date.
They are looking for someone who is able to work in a targeted orientated environment, with experience of structuring calls, qualifying leads and a knowledge of closing techniques. With a positive and flexible attitude, you will have pipeline management experience and be able to identify multiple service opportunities from a single lead.
Excellent communication skills are needed as you will liaise with existing and prospective external customers, as well as sales teams, business developers, divisional staff and stakeholders. A self-motivated individual, you will be able to work well both independently and within a team.
