An exciting opportunity to join the expanding design department at one of our most prestigious clients in Southampton.
A support engineer is required, responsibilities will include
• To answer, investigate and resolve client support requests
• To investigate and resolve internal support requests
• To update support case documentation on SID
• To assist the Senior Support Engineer with level 2 escalation support cases
• To produce MG knowledgebase articles and advice notes to support regular support activity
• To conduct remote access sessions to support live projects
• To create and maintain support records, documentation and procedures
• To investigate and resolve faulty products returned under RMA

The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience.

• Cisco experience essential, CCNA/CCNP desirable
• Excellent IT literacy, including Microsoft Office Applications
• Electrical or Electronic background desirable
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work effectively to procedures
• Knowledge of Video Surveillance systems desirable
• At least three years' experience in a technical support environment
