Deputy Regional Manager
Salary: GBP24,196 - GBP27,188 per annum
Location: Leeds
GBP14,501 - GBP16,312 pro rata (based on the full time annual salary of GBP24,4169 - GBP27,188)
Part time (21 hours per week), Permanent
We have a vacancy for a Deputy Regional Manager in the Yorkshire and South Yorkshire office based in Leeds, which is part of the membership support and global engagement (MSGE) department at the Royal College of Physicians.
The post holder will support members across the Yorkshire and South Yorkshire regions, as well as participating as an active member of the wider regional and MSGE teams.
Responsibilities
- Planning, organising and facilitating educational support events for RCP members and Fellows ranging from medical students through to retired consultants
- Deal with a range of enquiries, promote regional and RCP activity and membership through email and other networks
- Build relationships and run local meetings with key regional stakeholders
- Approve job descriptions for local consultant posts
About You
- excellent customer service and relationship management experience
- experience of organising events, workshops, seminars or public events
- ability to work autonomously
- experience in a management post which has included a significant degree of responsibility
About the RCP and MSGE department
The Royal College of Physicians of London plays a pivotal role in setting the standards and through a variety of activities, influences the quality of medical practice in hospitals. It conducts examinations, carries out training, education and research activities and advises the Government and the profession on health and medical matters.
The Membership Support and Global Engagement (MSGE) department aims to provide leadership and support to RCP members and fellows. This includes developing membership engagement policies and strategy, reviewing membership benefits and managing all elements of the members' journey.
